Performance: Olga Sorokina and Michael Jekel Teatr Lesnoy Dom A dance becomes part of a composition. A composition becomes part of a dance. Sometimes the invisible remains invisible, sometimes the invisible is there to be felt. Space is not empty. There is structure in space. After the dancer has done his work, an image remains in space. |
A compositional structure was created in space for the purpose of giving a frame to an improvised performance. This structure was composed from elements collected in the museum's backyard and storage rooms and then suspended from above in the exhibition space. After the end of the exhibition all objects were returned to the sites from which they had been taken. |
